PREREQUISITES
Finance/Accounting degree
Valid Swiss working permission or EU Citizenship required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Drive the monthly and quarterly close activities, focusing on inventory and cost accounting in accordance with US GAAP and any other compliance requirements.
Review the monthly Intercompany profit elimination in accordance with US GAAP.
Analyze the monthly manufacturing operating results quantifying sources of variability, productivity and unusual items. Analyze variances, identifying root causes and develop actions plans to improve.
Implement, maintain and improve cost accounting and Technical Operations related financial policies and procedures to ensure adequate controls.
Support the International Technical Operations team on any financial requirements.
Collaborate with the Area Controller on the International Management reporting and bridge vs. budget, forecast and prior years. Provide analysis on the deviation.
Prepare and develop monthly reports such as monthly cost center review and treasury balance sheet exposure report.
Develop the annual Budget and monthly rolling forecast for our manufacturing sites and for the International Technical Operations group.
Supervise VAT & Intrastat returns preparation for selected entities.
Coach a small team for all related matters of the assigned area.
Assist the Area Controller with various financial projects.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Finance/Accounting degree
Proficiency with Excel. Past experience with integrated accounting software (experience with ORACLE a plus).
Ability to manage people
Good knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated person, eager to learn
Fluent in English, another language is desirable
